This is horrible. Adding a paraphrase, or quote to a poem is not a kind of poetry I enjoy reading. It just comes off as rather silly. Consider a rewrite.

Can I "get good" at something or is that improper grammar?

Today I told my friend that it would take a while for me to get good at a certain video game. He is convinced this is improper grammar, but I say that just like you can get better at something, you can get good at it. Any thoughts?

Are these signs of pre-diabetes?

In the mornings my sugar level is usually in the lower 70's. After a meal its usually in the 200's. After a while it goes to normal range. (i used grandmas machine to check my sugar, i don't have my own sugar tester) After a meal i always have dry mouth and I am constantly thirsty. I have gained weight rapidly. If i don't have breakfast and i delay lunch, my hands start to shake and I sweat. Can this be pre-diabetes?

My little boy was congested for 3 weeks and is now finally cleared up. However, he has GREATLY regressed in several areas and I am afraid I have started him on some bad habits. He used to sleep 7-7 straight through, going to bed drowsy but awake. He would take 2 good naps during the day, going down awake and putting himself back to sleep if he woke up in the middle. He would talk and talk and didn't take a pacifier too much. Then he got sick and since he is so young, I catered to him completely! Now, he is nursed to sleep (I can't keep him awake!), goes to bed with a pacifier, wakes up around 5am, takes shorter naps or skips one altogether. That wouldn't bother me if he were fine, but he only wants mommy now, cries a lot, is super cranky and sleepy a lot, fights naps, doesn't "talk" and play like he used to, etc. You get the picture - my little boy has "been spoiled" (if you can call it that) and I am just wondering how I can change his sleep schedules to get back my super happy baby!

you likely went off angle and now it's as dull as a hammer, with how buck knives are made(double bevel), it's either buy a new knife or be prepared to do a lot of sharpening at the proper angle to bring back it's edge, take your time or you'll screw it up again, but personally, buy a new knife, the effort to fix this knife wouldn't be worth it to me, I have better things to do then mess around with a buck knife, just my opinion.

Harold camping claims that the rapture will occur may 21, 2011 and the world will end in October 2011. How can anyone believe that when the bible clearly states that NO MAN KNOWS of the day or the hour. I don't know if some other spelling was common in inson's time, or if "Himmaleh" is her own personal quirky version of the word. So...I met a guy named Blake on a website. He messaged me on there, we talked throughout that day. He gave me his number and said to call or text anytime I wanted. So we started texting. Help for ACT prep and studying?

I received a way lower score than I thought I would get on the ACT. I received a 22 when I was shooting for a high 20s. I think it was a mentality problem, I have never really been a good tester so I decided to not do anything besides a one night prep cl and just go in and take the test hoping that if I wasn't nervous I would do better. I now realize that was a horrible mistake because I should have scored at least a 28. What books should I use for prep? Does anyone have just some test taking tips? you are very good with detail and i could envision it really good. However, I know as strange as this may sound, it was too detailed. When the writing is too detailed, it can sometimes lose the readers interest. This happens to me all the time. I will be trying to hard to describe a scene in my writing and I get bored from it, and I want to stop writing my story and start all over again. (Hint: I mean all of the time.)

Is my home properly baby proofed?

I have a 1 year old, and we have the outlet covers, a teething gaurd for her crib, a fireplace gaurd, cabinet locks, and door knob covers, but do we need anything else? I never bought corner gaurds because I didn't think we ever had anything in our house that needed them. I may be wrong though, what kind of furniture do you suggest needs corner gaurds? Life deployed in IRAQ Camp Liberty?

I'm not on camp liberty but I'm on camp stryker which is attached to it. camp liberty is nice. they have a killer DFAC(chow hall), their MWR there is nice, its a pretty secure base. every once in a while a mortar will come in but its A LOT better than some FOBs I have been on this year. As far as internet in the trailers go they have wireless service there now so if he has a laptop or something that has wireless he'll be good to go. I have heard the same thing. I can't really give a reference or research on it at this second. But if you ever read Temple Grandin's books, she talks about euthanasia a pretty fair amount. She designs stuff (especially for cattle) to make slaughter humane. I've read "Thinking in Pictures", "Animals in Translation" (loooved that one) and she also has one called "Animals Make us Human." You could probably learn from those books. I got this book called "Thanking the Monkey" that's about animal rights but I haven't read it yet, so I don't know if there's a section on euthanasia.

ok well my band teacher, i think he hates me. in band i sit next to my boyfriend and sometimes we will talk, but the teacher will be like, Im going to wait until Jess can get focused, and he will do it over and over again like 5 times per cl. then i was just sitting there in band and he was like, jess, i need you to move up a row. for many different reasons, then he will give me this like... glare. or if my note is flat, infront of the entire cl he will go OH REALLY? Changing the title of my Rental Property?

Right now I have a Single Family Residence that I use as a Rental Property. The home is in my Revocable Living Trust. I am going to form an LLC for the rental. Should I change the title to the house to the LLC or keep the Revocable Living Trust? I am trying to protect myself completely. This life dust falls on all planets, moons and asteroids and most of this life dust either dies or never evolves much. But some life dust does occasionally land on a planet that has the right conditions to support the eventual evolution of this life dust into an advanced species capable of reasoning and remembering, like humans. So, there's this one guy that I really like. He is always talking with me, and tries to start a conversation with me by saying really stupid things. Okay let me tell you a little about my mother. She is a 40 year old African American, she is overweight for her average weight & 5'8'', she has four kids but only two are alive (me and my sister), and yeah that's it. So my mother has been having l bleeding (well she says period) for about 2 months! She had this before and it was for 6 weeks I believe and it stopped and then she started having her regular periods again. She says it's easing up but she says she feels like all the energy is being sucked out of her and that she is dying slowly. And of course I don't want my mother to die ! Yeah the doctor gave her some birth control pills and she says it might be finished and she's having her monthly period. But I just want my mother to go back to her normal fun self. When she walks up the stairs she has to quickly run to her bedroom to catch her breath. She says the heat just makes it worse. And it's summer and we want to go to amusement parks & water parks and stuff, and next month we are going to Trinidad and she wants to go to the beach and just have fun. When will this stop I am very worried about her and I don't want her to die. Has any other woman experienced this. Also she said that her aunt went into menopause at 42 so maybe she is going into it to but how will she when she is constantly bleeding !? Thank you.

i started skating two years ago, but i don't skate often enough to be good, so i guess im still a beginner. i ride with my right foot forward and left foot pushing. the web says that's goofy footed, and i looked more it told me ways to find out if im goofy footed or regular. when i try the test, i found out the im not goofy, but i can't balance my left foot on the deck, i have to push with my left foot eith my right foot on the deck. and when i practice ollies, i can do the regular one but not the goofy way. this really bothers me, please help. thank you. by the way, i know the catagory says snowboarding, but im on a skateboard
