My l area sweats alot and it has a sweaty smell to it, how do i get rid of that smell?

my l area sweats alot and it has a sweaty smell to it, how do i get rid of that smell?? i wash really good and i dont have a yeast infection adn my doctor just told me to keep washing.. so idk how to get rid of the smell of sweat down there... and i have been told i smell a little sweaty and taste salty, not tht he didnt mind.. but i just wish i knew how to get ride of the smell of sweat so i wasnt so embarressed..:(, also just bec he was fine with it doesnt mean my new bf will be :S.. please help me out!! :(
