Can anyone help to refine this and make it better English?

This is my first time I left without my mom and dad. I miss them very much .A few days ago, I had a wonderful dream .I dreamed that I was back home, but they were not at home yet. I thought that they must be in the field.. So I went to our field. I walked and walked, and suddenly I heard a voice; That must be my mom, I guessed. As I sped up my steps, she came into my sight, and I said, ''Mom! I am back!'' She had a big smile. We went back home together. To my surprise, when we arrived home, Dad was back home, too .I felt very happy. However ,it was just a dream!
