How do you feel about the hypothesis that life is tered like dust all over the universe?

This life dust falls on all planets, moons and asteroids and most of this life dust either dies or never evolves much. But some life dust does occasionally land on a planet that has the right conditions to support the eventual evolution of this life dust into an advanced species capable of reasoning and remembering, like humans. I think this is a perfectly fine explanation about how life began on this planet and we should accept this as the best explanation until a better one is discovered. What do you think? Or would you prefer to believe in some bizarre myth about a god who made the universe and gets angry when you think ual thoughts?
